Press was started in 1938 when J.R. and Helen Fuehrer created
J.R. Fuehrer Advertising. The first product was genuine steel
die engraved acknowledgment cards, produced on equipment that
Mr. Fuehrer designed and built. Thomas R. Cook and Edwin O.
Jarvis purchased the business in 1977 and changed the name
to Rob-Win Press in 1982 when the business was incorporated.
Both Cook and Jarvis focused their enthusiasm and energy
on growth, as well as on continued high quality. Each partner
learned to work in the machine shop and to run any and all
of the equipment. As sales increased, employees were added,
equipment was purchased and, in 1984, the business moved
to its present 38,000 square foot building in Allentown,
PA. Rob-Win’s new home offered the much needed space
necessary for further expansion.
Select printing presses and bindery equipment allow Rob-Win
to manufacture and assemble all of their printed products.
They still die stamp genuine engraved acknowledgment cards,
but also have enlarged their color lines of acknowledgments,
service folders and prayer cards.
In 1988, Edwin Jarvis developed the bookbinding department
which now produces a variety of top quality register books.
Rob-Win also provides a general line of funeral supply products
carefully chosen from items that compliment its own product
line.
In 1997, Rob-Win established an exclusive relationship
with Lena Liu to use her beautiful art designs for the funeral
industry. Each year Rob-Win adds to the very popular selection
of cards and books available.
The current staff at Rob-Win strives constantly to meet
the changing demands of the funeral industry, while at the
same time offering an old-fashioned dedication to quality
and customer service. State of the art computers facilitate
both new design creation and efficient control of order
processing.
Rob-Win will always make a sincere effort to satisfy your
demands for high quality and affordable merchandise. We
are confident that you will be proud to offer all of our
products to your families.
